Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Mike’s Forest Retreat, we carefully prepare every stay to ensure a peaceful and personalised experience. As a boutique retreat with limited accommodations, cancellations can significantly impact availability. We request guests to review the following terms before confirming their reservation.

Reservation Confirmation

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the advance or full payment communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days before arrival

• Full refund, less applicable bank, payment gateway, or transaction charges.

15–30 days before arrival

• 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.

7–14 days before arrival

• 25% of the total booking amount will be refunded.

Less than 7 days before arrival

• No refund will be applicable.

No-Show Policy

Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled check-in date without prior written notice will be treated as a No-Show. No refunds, credits, or date changes will be offered.

Early Departure & Unused Stay

No refunds or credits will be provided for early departures, delayed arrivals, unused nights, or changes requested after check-in.

Reservation Modifications

• Date changes are subject to availability and management approval.
• Requests received more than 30 days before arrival may be accommodated without penalty.
• Requests made within 30 days of arrival may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, with the applicable cancellation policy applied.

Force Majeure

Mike’s Forest Retreat is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, pandemics, civil unrest, or transportation disruptions.

In such cases, management may, at its sole discretion, offer alternative stay dates or booking credits, subject to availability.

Group Bookings & Exclusive Buyouts

Separate terms may apply to group stays, workshops, retreats, events, or exclusive property buyouts. These will be communicated at the time of booking.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and, wherever possible, credited to the original payment method.
